U.S. Barricades Solar Powered Wrong Way warning beacon system is a cost effective way to to prevent head-on accidents and save lives. The base system incorporates a 24/7 wig-wag flashing pattern of 56 flashes per minute, MUTCD specification. This system will flash two, very bright, 12" Red Beacons, providing extra visible warning that drivers will notice and react.
We are working with Center for Urban Transportation Research (CUTR) to research and design systems to decrease wrong-way driving.
